Our Commitment to Privacy
HeartYou is built on the principle that your health data belongs to you and you alone. We designed HeartYou to be completely private by default.
Data Collection
HeartYou does not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on our servers.All blood pressure readings, personal profile information, and health data are stored exclusively on your device's local database. We do not have access to your data, and we do not want access to it.
Data Storage
All data is stored locally on your Android device using a SQLite database in the app's private documents directory. This data is only accessible by the HeartYou app on your device. No data is synced to any cloud service or external server.
Third-Party Services
HeartYou does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app does not require internet permission and functions fully offline. The only optional network access occurs when you explicitly choose to share a report using Android's built-in share functionality, which is handled entirely by your device's operating system.
Data Sharing
You are in full control of your data. HeartYou provides an optional report sharing feature that lets you generate and share health summaries. This is done through Android's standard share sheet, and you control exactly what is shared and with whom. No data is ever shared automatically or without your explicit action.
Data Deletion
All data can be deleted at any time by clearing the app's data through your device's settings, or by uninstalling the app. Uninstalling HeartYou permanently removes all locally stored health data from your device.
Children's Privacy
HeartYou does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. As we do not collect any data at all, this is inherently satisfied.
Changes to This Policy
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update this page. As our approach to privacy is fundamental to the app's design, any changes would continue to respect your data sovereignty.
